CamStudio – Offers quite a few features for a free software package. Features such as captions, callouts, and custom cursors, gives you Camtasia'ish features. Screencast-O-Matic – Available in free and pro version ($9/ year). The free version runs from the website and does a good job of basic screen capture. Pro version allows you to launch the software outside of the browser and edit the video after recording. Jing – Created by the makers of Camtasia, TechSmith, this free version will simply record your voice and your screen. The free version compiles a SWF file, while the Pro version allows you to export the videos in MPEG-4 format for easy uploading to video sharing sites. ($15/year for pro) Wink – Wink is a Tutorial and Presentation creation software, primarily aimed at creating tutorials on how to use software (like a tutor for MS-Word/Excel etc).
